Hanna was born and grew up in sunny Los Angeles, California, and moved to Luxembourg in 2019. Being born to a Luxembourgish father and speaking fluently French, she decided to move to Europe after finishing her studies. She now works as a Communications Officer at ALFI (Association of Luxembourg fund industry) where she mainly deals with press and marketing for the company. Her favourite part is to travel for ALFI’s roadshows and events. Hanna’s mother is Korean so she harbours a deep love for Asian food, which she misses mostly in Europe. Although she can’t speak Korean yet, she’s in the process of learning it, along with German.
I would like to become a mentor because when I first moved to Luxembourg, all the people who helped me really made a difference. The transition didn’t seem as painful and through locals you can discover so much more about a country/ place. I think it would be great to get to know a younger crowd and help them along their journey.
