What I will experience

Once the mentor-mentee couples are created, you and your mentor will design an action plan for the next 5 months, with measurable objectives, that can be achieved by the end of the program. During this period, you and your mentor will meet on a regular basis.

With your mentor's support, you can carry out a small project, or activity, of your choice. It will serve as a practical basis for your discussions and will give you a chance to put your newly acquired skills into practice.

In addition, you can get in touch with other mentors in our program or you can meet dozens of young people like you.

Thank you for your interest in Shape Your Future. Please, note that this application form can’t be saved. We therefore suggest that you prepare your answers in a word document and paste them below once you are finished. This way, you don’t run the risk of losing your work in progress.

This document is a tool we have created getting to know you better and understanding your needs and expectations towards your mentor and the program. Consequently, there are no good or bad answers, we only expect you to be as thorough and honest as possible.

Personal data processing

Pursuant to article 5(1)(f) of the law of 2002 on the protection of persons with regard to the processing of personal data as subsequently amended, I hereby consent to the registration, administration and handling of my personal data by the non-profit organization ("association sans but lucratif") Global Shapers Luxembourg a.s.b.l.. I acknowledge that the data was provided voluntarily and that such data can be processed for the following purposes:

(i) the internal use by Global Shapers Luxembourg a.s.b.l. in order to evaluate candidates for the Shape Your Future program; and

(ii) the creation of a database of candidates to allow for the cooperation between Global Shapers Luxembourg a.s.b.l. and the student.

I understand and agree that my personal data may be stored and processed by Global Shapers Luxembourg a.s.b.l. in order to give students information related to (professional) opportunities and advice or other (as well as) professional or social activities of Global Shapers Luxembourg.
